For many, the location was one of the motel's best assets. Thanks to its central position, the accommodation is surrounded by numerous restaurants, stores and attractions such as the Queen Victoria Market and SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium.

When it came to the customer service provided, most previous visitors had a positive experience when interacting with the accommodation's staff members. The front desk personnel were typically spotlighted for their reportedly accommodating and welcoming attitude.

For the majority of past guests, the standard of the motel's rooms in terms of hygiene was perfectly acceptable. Despite some complaints at times, the rooms were often described as clean and tidy in most areas.

The quality of the free Wi-Fi service was regularly lambasted by former visitors that stayed at the accommodation. So much so in fact, that it has typically been claimed that the wireless Internet was close to non-existent.

Based on the sentiments of recent visitors, the accommodation was outdated in areas such as décor and furnishings. This was also reflected in the omission of any lifts servicing the upper floors, which was understandably an issue for those that had to traverse the stairs to their rooms.
