Live entertainment from your hotel.
Generally when you’re on holiday, you don’t want to limit yourself to the hotel’s gravitational pull. However, if you’re looking for something to do, there are plenty of entertaining activities in and around the hotel, including tennis courts, a games room, two bars and nightly entertainment.

positive:
Upper level rooms let you take it all in.
From atop the hotel, the coast of Tenerife really comes alive. Many of the top floor rooms offer balconies with stunning views of the city and the nearby shore. Each day, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and watch the sun rise over the lovely blue waters of the Mediterranean.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Free Wi-Fi is only available in the commons.
Even though the hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby area, they don’t extend this service to the rest of the rooms or the upper floor pool. The hotel does provide wireless service in the rooms, but it’s pay-per-day only.
negative:
Rooftop pool can be difficult to access.
At the hotel, you’ll have access to two separate pools, the downstairs and the upstairs pools. The upstairs pool is definitely the quieter of the two, but guests have noted that the bar is only open seasonally, so beverages (including water) are a long walk away. Other visitors noted that those with mobility issues may have trouble accessing the top pool.
negative:
Small fees can add up (even with all-inclusive).
On average, when you shell out for an all-inclusive package at a hotel, you expect it to include everything. This isn’t necessarily the case at Puerto de la Cruz. Unfortunately, some features like the safe and minibar, as well as higher end cocktails aren’t included in the “all-inclusive” bundle.
