Hotel Euro Guesthouse (Sliema, Malta)

Several guests commented that the location of the guest house was very central. They found good transport links nearby to other parts of the city and island, and also more than enough bars, cafes and restaurants in the area to give them a wide range of options to choose from.

The hotel has very modern décor and guests mentioned that it looks like it has been recently renovated. While trendy modern designs never please every guest, most seemed to enjoy the fact that their rooms looked very trendy and functioned just as they should.

While there were some contrary opinions expressed, the vast majority of guests found the staff at Euro Guesthouse to be excellent. They were said to be welcoming on arrival and friendly in general, but what most seemed to impress guest was their willingness to go beyond the call of duty to assist their guests.

While most guests seemed to realise this before booking at the guest house, it was pointed out that in-room air conditioning attracts an extra charge. For most people this would be more of a necessity in the Maltese summer, so those travelling then should definitely budget for it.

While the breakfast did receive a good many compliments, there were perhaps a bit too many complaints for comfort. Those who did not like it had a variety of complaints, but the gist of them seemed to be that there was neither enough variety nor quantity on offer.

Guests bringing up the lack of these facilities would dearly have loved to be able to make themselves a quick cuppa in their rooms with a minimum of fuss.
