Hotel Emir (Istanbul, Turkey)

The hotel is very conveniently placed within walking distance of Istanbul's most beautiful and interesting cultural sites as well as public transport to connect you with the centre and any other parts of the city.

For a reasonable price you get a comfortable and clean room, daily housekeeping service, friendly and knowledgeable staff and of course the great location in a popular and lively part of the city. As compared to other hotels in and around the Sultanahmet area, Emir is a good bargain.

The hotel building is four storeys high and there are no elevators, so for wheelchair users or those travelling with heavy luggage for example, this will likely be a problem. If possible try and book a room on the ground floor to avoid this.

The hotel does not offer any meals or drinks on site although there is a minibar in each room and guests may buy their own refreshments for this. There are however many good restaurants in the area and the hotel staff are happy to give recommendations for the best and most affordable options so be sure to ask!

No designated private parking is available at the hotel, so should you be travelling with a car you may need to use public parking on another site and walk a little to and from the property.
