As guests mentioned, the rooms have been completely renovated and now offer comfort and convenience. For example, the carpets, bedding, flat-screen TV and furniture is new and the rooms are bright and inviting.

The hotel's new owners as well as the rest of the staff was stated to be very friendly and extremely helpful, even offering detailed advice on local recommendations. Guests pointed out that they truly felt cared for, as it was obvious that the staff intended to make their stay as lovely as possible from check-in to check-out.

Guests loved the hotel's convenient location, as you can easily walk to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, Earthquake the Ride, several miniature golf courses, several museums, some local distilleries, grocery stores and a large number of restaurants.

As a few guests pointed out, the hotel rooms do not have enough outlets and the ones they do are relatively far from the bed, so charging your electronic devices overnight within reach on your nightstand is not an option.

While guests found the interior to be comfortable and modern, they noted that when first seeing the exterior they didn't have the best first impression of the hotel. Fortunately, once you set foot inside the hotel you'll be pleasantly surprised as previous guests were.

While many guests found the new mattresses to be quite comfortable, some others noted that they were too firm.
