The location of the Econo Lodge was useful for many former guests. As well as cities such as Philadelphia and New Jersey being relatively close, the hotel is also within walking distance of various restaurants, stores and attractions such as the CoCo Key Water Resort.

Despite communication issues on the odd occasion, the staff members at the hotel were praised by most previous visitors. The service provided was regularly said to be welcoming, kind and helpful overall.

For past guests that visited the Econo Lodge in their own vehicle, the on-site parking was seen as one of its best aspects. It has been stated that the hotel contains plenty of parking spaces, with it also possible to park directly outside the rooms.

The small size of the rooms was brought up as a negative point by various former visitors to the Econo Lodge. Furthermore, the general condition of the rooms was also lambasted at times, with supposedly distressed furnishings and décor.

The complimentary breakfast was one of the most regular sources of grievance for previous guests that stayed at the hotel. In particular, the limited amount of variety - with just toast, muffins, juice and coffee served based on feedback - was scrutinized by those that sampled the breakfast.

Although it has been described as clean by the majority of recent visitors, a notable amount were disappointed about the hygiene standards at the Econo Lodge. Stained sheets, dust and pungent odors are some of the more common cleanliness-related problems that have been reported about the hotel's rooms.
