Hotel Dormy Inn Premium Shibuya Jingumae (Tokyo, Japan)

The vast majority of guests staying here really appreciated the fact that this hotel is set on a quiet street yet is within walking distance to both the transport hubs and street activity of Harajuku and Shibuya.

Having a lovely traditional Japanese hot spring communal bathhouse (ofuro) on the premises means you can enjoy a nice, relaxing soak pretty much whenever you like. Unsurprisingly, a great many visitors enjoyed this privilege, particularly as the hotel adds floating oranges to engender an extra sweet fragrance!

Numerous guests have given the breakfasts proffered here a glowing review. The Japanese-style choices of niku jagga, rice with eel, Japanese style omelette, and cold veggie dishes and tofu tended to gain more plaudits than the slightly less varied Western offerings.

It is fair to say that very few visitors have had favourable things to say about the rather rigid pillows provided at this hotel.

Like most other business-style hotels in Tokyo, the rooms here are really quite tiny by Western standards. Numerous couples have found sleeping in a twin room to be more beneficial than staying in a double as they afford more space.

The vast majority of guests staying here have been distinctly under-whelmed by the views on hand from the guest rooms. Options include a train track, a Japanese graveyard and frosted glass (so no view at all).
