As is common in Japan, hotel rooms tend to be small in size and compact, and some guests found the rooms and bathrooms to be small and cramped.

The air conditioning system is not used all year round and some guests complained that the rooms became hot and stuffy even in winter. The windows can be opened to allow in cool air, however this also lets in the loud noise of traffic.

Some guests found that from time to time housekeeping did not clean the rooms to a high standard and details such as dusting the surfaces and cleaning the electric kettle were sometimes missed.
