The hotel has a really convenient location for travelers. It is close to shops and restaurants and provide easy access to the main road for those venturing into downtown. The easy on-and-off from the interstate makes this a good choice for overnight travelers as well.

This a basic stay, but the rooms are clean and functional. Some remodeling is going on and rooms are being improved. There is an obvious pride throughout the hotel and common areas so while the hotel is a bit old-fashioned, the staff keeps things in the best shape possible.

The front desk staff is available around the clock as is the 24-hour airport shuttle. The staff is both friendly and efficient at any time of day and responds quickly to any concerns or issues.

The overall impression is one of shabbiness. The carpets are stained and old; the walls are yellowed with age. There are cheap furnishings and fixtures and the whole place has a musty odor.

The great customer service and hospitality doesn't extend to the morning shift as breakfast can be an ordeal. The staff in the morning doesn't give a great start to the day as they routinely limit items from the bar and complain about guest messiness to the guests themselves.

The hotel is handicap accessible, but is not handicap friendly. There are extra charges for refrigerators, even if those are needed for medication, with no apologies or concern noted. Food from the breakfast buffet is not allowed to leave the breakfast area and all guests will have to make a personal appearance if they want to eat. Also, the bathrooms are not easy to use as they are small and lack handrails and other needed features.
