Hotel Days Inn by Wyndham Roanoke Near I-81 (Roanoke, USA)

The hotel was in a strategic location near the highway. It was a short driving distance from various eateries as well. The hotel was convenient for people who needed a night’s stay and who needed to be off of I-81.

The continental breakfast was found to be good with a nice selection in the morning. There was a waffle machine and plenty of pastries and hot drinks. It was nice to have this morning meal included in the price of their stay.

The staff members were found to be friendly individuals by most guests who stayed here. They were courteous and provided them with answers to their questions. They were also helpful when it came to recommendations of the area. They were pleasant people to deal with.

The hotel advertises a fitness center but instead found that there was no such thing. They found old and nonworking treadmills and a very poor room to exercise in. They were disappointed with the “gym”.

The nonsmoking rooms smelled of smoke which was disappointing for guests who had this experience. There were also cigarette burns in the bathtub or sheets. The smoke smell would not go away and the rooms did not feel clean at all.

Most guests feel the hotel is in need of a renovation to keep it up to normal standards. They had issues with certain utilities such as air conditioning or the showers. They would have liked a modern look.
