While the hotel isn't located directly in the city, it is only a 10-minute drive into downtown Nashville. Many guests noted that this was an excellent way to save money on their vacation, as the nightly rate at Days Inn Nashville North-Opryland/Grand Ole Opry Area was much lower than the hotels in Nashville.

Previous guests were very happy with the complimentary Wi-Fi. It was easy to get connected, and the download speeds were more than sufficient. In addition, the rooms are well equipped with multiple power outlets for charging all your devices.

Considering the hotel is located near a busy highway, guests were amazed at how quiet the rooms were. They found that the soundproofing was adequate for keeping out the noise of traffic as well as the noise from the neighboring rooms.

Many guests found fault with the complimentary breakfast served each morning. They complained that it lack variety. They also noted that the breakfast room was small, and had very few tables, and, as such, would get rather over crowded at times.

Though some guests did not experience any issues, many noted that their room had an unpleasant smell. Some described it as the stench of old smoke, as if their room had previously been designated as a smoking room. Others noted a moldy smell, which raised concerns about the general cleanliness of the rooms.

Quite a few guests expressed annoyance that their sleep here was less than restful. They claimed that the mattresses were old, lumpy, and generally uncomfortable. They took similar issue with the pillows, finding them lumpy and too flat.
