A successful stay is always in part because of helpful and attentive staff, and here it's quite evident. Whether it's a question about where to go while in town, or a request for something that will enhance the stay, the staff will take care of it. They're a considerable reason why it's great coming here.

The Riviera Inn is a lovely base for getting about town, and conveniently located to enjoying scenic drives along the bay. You can get to quite a bit within a short stroll or drive, making immediate needs and dining quick and simple.

This is a nice stop that won't greatly affect your budget. It serves the express purpose of somewhere to sleep and shower, and keeps you amidst key points during travels.

The dinginess and dirt on the carpets are notable, and not a comforting sign for relaxing or walking around without shoes on. It echoes the rest of the décor and ambience, which is tired and due for a change.

Wi-Fi is spotty and either doesn't work at all or prone to dropping amidst the signal. Thin walls mean that you're likely to hear others, and thus they may hear you. The entry key cards don't always work properly, which can affect returning to your room without fuss.

Although this is a low key hotel, guests are still disappointed by so-so breakfast offerings. There's not always enough to go around for everyone, and the presentation and results are not always appealing or filling.
