Usually, at these affordable hotels you find sparse offerings at the breakfast table, but here they do it right. There are plenty of things to choose from both cooked and cold and all of it is delicious. It’s a great meal to have included in your rate.

This hotel is just off the highway, and you can walk to a number of different places for dinner within a few short minutes. It really is the right place for a convenient overnight stop on a long road trip, and it’s good value for money too.

The people at the front desk give you a real local welcome and treat you like a friend of the family rather than a guest. They are wonderfully polite and love to help out when they can. If you need anything at all, don’t be afraid to just ask.

If you wake up in the middle of the night, don’t be surprised to see some bugs on the floor or walls of your room. The staff say that the place has been fumigated, but there are too many sightings of roaches for this to be true.

The entire place could really do with a lot of work. There is mold in the bathrooms, and the beds aren’t in great shape. You may find the odd stain here and there too which is bad enough in itself but when you see trash from previous guests, you know the place hasn’t been cleaned.

This place isn’t noisy due to anything outside the hotel but because of the air con units that sound like they are on their last legs. Then there’s the fact that you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms. Pack your earplugs for this place.
