Hotel Days Inn Bloomington West (Bloomington, USA)

The hotel has a very convenient location right next to the interstate which makes it an ideal base to visit downtown Bloomington where there is so much to see and do and just 15-minutes away is Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport as is Mall of America where there are hundreds of stores, restaurants, a cinema, an aquarium and a theme park.

A wide selection of food is available at breakfast time with fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt and pastries along with a hot option featuring eggs and toast. The area is kept clean by staff and constantly replenished so you don't have to get there early to make sure you don't miss out.

There is a pet friendly policy so you don't have to worry about leaving your four legged friends at home during your stay. Staff are very good with pets and always warmly welcome them.

There have been complaints from guests about mold on the walls and ceilings in bathrooms which also causes a musty, dank smell. There are other maintenance issues, but there are reports that the hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment so there should be improvements made.

Although the hotel is fortunate enough to have a pool they don't pay much attention to its upkeep with guests reporting that it is very dirty with cigarette butts floating in the water which itself is quite murky.

When issues arise or when requests are made the staff are not always quick to respond and don't go out of their way to satisfy guests and resolve any issues.
