You will always be greeted with a welcoming smile and staff at the front desk have received particular mention for their high levels of customer service and friendly nature in addition to going the extra mile to meet guests' needs.
Despite the close proximity to busy roads previous guests reported that they were not disturbed by noise from traffic and they also found that there were no disturbances from other guests staying here.
Although the hotel is pet friendly this was a disappointment for pet owners who were not happy with the additional charges for small dogs and cats and who were equally unimpressed with the exercise area for dogs which was merely wasteland and was littered with broken glass.
There have been reports of rooms being very smelly with a mixture of damp and mould, animals and stale smoke which made the stay quite unpleasant.
The rooms are in dire need of an update with the décor looking tired and outdated and the general appearance looking shabby. Carpets are quite worn and dirty in places with previous guests advising that you don't take off your shoes and there have also been complaints about beds being stained and really uncomfortable.
