Teide Mar is a three-star apartment hotel set in the tropical gardens of Puerto de la Cruz, Spain. The apartments are seven minutes’ walk from Botanical Gardens. All the 257 apartments are equipped with sofa beds, satellite television, safety deposit box and refrigerator. Bathrooms are provided with bath and shower. There is a kitchenette that has cooking rings and toaster. Guests can enjoy themselves in the wooden verandahs. Pets are allowed on request at no extra charges. Wi-Fi is chargeable and parking is not available. There is an outdoor pool, garden and terrace. Services like currency exchange, car hire, 24-hour front desk and elevators can be availed by the guests. Breakfast is not available. Onsite buffet restaurant serves different types of cuisines. Guests can enjoy their drinks in the bar. Teide Mar is three miles away from Casa de los Balcones and a short drive from Playa de Martianez Beach.

The apartments are spacious and clean. They are equipped with all the basic amenities. There is hot water supply 24 hours a day. Guests enjoyed their cup of tea in the wooden balconies that gave a very traditional look to the entire set up. Apartments were cleaned regularly with regular change of towels, linens and toilet paper.
Guests loved the beautiful garden setting with views of Mount Teide. It was well-maintained and tended well by the committed gardener. Outdoor pool is surrounded by trees and lawns. It is the ideal place for guests to relax and also enjoy their drinks in the nice poolside bar.
There are many bars and restaurants close to the hotel. The pizza restaurant right across the road is a must try according to many guests. Guests loved the black sand beach, which was considered to be the ideal place to socialise. There are plenty of small back streets with many shops to roam around.
The Wi-Fi connection was very patchy and kept disconnecting over and over again. It is expensive and available only beyond the area of the foyer.
Some of the guests felt that the absence of air conditioner in the apartments made it very hot and humid.
Beds were very hard and many guests went back with a bad backache. They felt that having softer beds would have been better for a comfortable sleep.
