Once you step out of the train at Central Station, almost at Copenhagen Plaza, you will find yourself facing the lovely Tivoli Gardens, and depending on your room, perhaps looking out over it. Outside, you will find plenty of taxis, bars and restaurants,
Guests were particularly enamoured with the old world charm of the historic hotel, especially the rich wooden panelling of the Library Bar, and were also happy with the comfortable beds.
The breakfast buffet served in the main restaurant is supposedly a wide spread, very good and offers plenty of hot food options.
A little bit of noise, nothing overwhelming, can be expected from the trains and occasionally from weekend rock concerts and fireworks at Tivoli, but it’s nothing earplugs cannot fix.
Some guests have found the rooms to be shabby and really just in need of a fresh coat of paint and overall update: simply old instead of old world.
