Even though they are in walking distance, they are amazed that the hotel will escort them there and back completely free by taxi! The area around also feels safe and there is a shopping mall just a few minutes away.
The hotel may be relatively modest, but considering the rates you pay, you won't hear a lot of guests complain. Yes, there could be improvements, but it is comfortable enough and a lot better value than other vastly more expensive hotels in the same area of town.
Even though many would admit that you do get what you pay for, a more comfortable mattress wouldn't go amiss! Numerous guests point out that the old beds are a bit on the hard side and hence not very comfortable. Not only that, the flat pillowcases don't lend themselves either to a good night's sleep.
The food, in particular the breakfast, is a divisive issue. Although some guests are delighted to have a hot breakfast buffet included in their room rate, others find it to be of extremely bad quality. Even if you think the standard is great, your love for it will no doubt be tested - as you are served up the same offerings every single morning.
