The Halkin is one of London's most prestigious small hotels. It has a location in the upmarket and central location of Belgravia, close to Hyde Park Corner. Christina Ong owns it along with its sister hotel, The Metropolitan on Park Lane. There are just 41 rooms and each one has been individually designed. These rooms come equipped with extras like 100% Egyptian cotton linen and fine goose down pillows and duvets, and anti mist mirrors. These are in addition to all of the standard amenities that one would expect to find in a hotel of this class. An interactive TV with a touch screen bedside console is just one of the facilities at the disposal of all guests. Giorgio Armani designed the uniforms of the staff and top interior designers have created a contemporary but sophisticated design throughout the hotel. The Halkin prides itself on attention to detail and its on site restaurant is Michellin starred with its own private dining areas. Guests can enjoy a butler service or use the complimentary fitness centre/gym. There is also a concierge available to arrange tours, a chauffeur, theatre tickets or simply advise on general sightseeing in the city.
