Covered parking, great landscaping and a quiet, laid back vibe suited many guests perfectly. Many felt that they received great value and would return again due to the well maintained property.

Rooms were just what guests wanted after a long day of travel. Several guests commented on the amount of space in rooms, as well as the comfortable beds and updated TVs. Cleanliness was also a factor for a number of positive reviews, with guests saying that rooms were cleaned to a high standard.

The owners of the Colonial Inn delivered first class customer service to a number of guests, going out of their way to suggest local attractions and to make restaurant recommendations. Guests were impressed with the level of service that they received, and wished every hotel had staff that were this friendly.

The complimentary continental breakfast was a bit of a downer for some guests who were expecting more variety. The spread was said to be very basic, with things like cereal, package oatmeal, pastries, and not much else.

Water pressure and water temperature were on the minds of a few unfortunate guests who didn't have the best shower experience. Showers were sometimes not strong enough to do the job, and lacked enough hot water to last the whole shower.

Most guests appreciated the colonial theme of rooms, but a few thought that the room design looked dated at times. Another consideration guests said that they would keep in mind for next time, was that not all rooms are located in the main building. Some accommodation is at the back of the property in a building that is far less grand.
