Colombus has a great location, right on the beach, on the Atlantic Ocean. Select rooms and the rooftop terrace have great views of the water. The hotel has easy highway access and there are plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options within a short drive.
Guests enjoyed the onsite restaurant, Atlantis. The Cajun and Creole inspired food was delicious and unique. The breakfast was filling and the coffee was some of the best guests have had. The only disappointment was that the coffee is served in very small cups.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They can give you lots of local tips and recommendations for activities. Don't hesitate to ask.
Several guests reported having problem with the air conditioning. For some guests, it didn't work at all during their stay.
The Wi-Fi is complimentary at Colombus but its reach is limited. Guests said the signal did not reach their rooms but worked great in the lobby. Unfortunately, a few guests also had trouble with cellphone reception.
The are no elevators to the second floor. If you have lots of luggage or trouble with stairs, it's recommended that you request a first floor room ahead of time or at check-in.
