The entertainment offered in the bar and restaurant is really top-notch, and much of it appropriate for families. Free kids meals are offered during some nights of the week and there are raffles and prizes given away regularly. The food in the restaurant is quite good and well-known locally.

The rates here are very affordable, especially considering how close the rooms are to the beach. Even rooms with the sea view aren't that expensive. The family rooms can be adjoining for convenience.

The staff is very friendly, especially in the bar and restaurant area. The focus here is on fun and good times and the ambiance lends towards socialising instead of staying cooped up in a room.

This choice is more along the lines of "rooms above the pub" sort of place than a hotel with standard features and amenities. The focus is clearly on the restaurants and bar area and any special events going on. So, service tends to suffer in the few rooms available.

The carpets have stains and holes in them and there isn't a lot of storage for luggage. Some rooms offer no views at all and can be stuffy and dark. The showers aren't strong and don't provide consistent temperature.

There is no real dedicated reception area. So, guests arriving after hours have to check in at the bar instead of having desk service focused on customer needs. The staff doesn't respond quickly, or at all, to issues and it's sometimes hard to find any staff to attend to needs.
