Hotel Chequers Inn (East Grinstead, United Kingdom)

There are many reviews from families who have stayed here explaining its a very warm and cosy Inn and they were made to feel very welcome. It proved to be a great choice.

The Inn is in the middle of the small village of Forest row and very close to shops and local amenities. Those who have stayed have rated it highly as its an easy commutable location and proves to be perfect for those wanting to explore the surrounding area.

The Inn has been owned by the same people for many years.The reviews about the service and staff are very good. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and the owners are very quick to resolve any issues which might occur whilst staying.

The restaurant serves food most of the day to guests and the public. There are many reviews which state the food is microwaved, cold, and does not match the description on the menu.

There are rooms which come with a four poster beds and some previous guests have complained about the net curtains surrounding the bed instead of proper drapes. They felt the owners had cut corners with the decor.

The Inn has kept its traditional features and most of the rooms are this way also. The rooms are described as dated with awful coloured bathrooms suites however others have liked this as its in keeping with the age of the building.
