The overall friendly and quality assistance of the staff especially the host was extremely pleasing according to previous guests. They went out of their way to provide the needs of the guests and special requests for their special events. The host was very personable and hospitable so guests never had any issues with their service.
Aside from the nice garden view, guests were impressed with the salted pool area surrounded by awesome plants. The area was well-maintained and relaxing. Guests also appreciated the nice furniture and pool rafts available at the pool area.
Due to its close proximity to El Paseo Drive, guests are able to enjoy travelling and roaming the area efficiently. The property is also closely situated to major establishments such as restaurants and some high-end shopping stores in Palm Desert.
Previous guests were displeased with the poor quality of the mattresses and pillows. The mattress was too soft and uncomfortable for the back especially for those who were suffering from back issues. There were also some parts which were drooping. The beds needed to be replaced with firmer ones according to guests.
The bathroom was quite small compared to other hotels, which was due to the old or traditional building structure. Guests were also not comfortable having the shower within a tub for it was not easy to stand and move around.
Guests had issues with the weak Wi-Fi signal. Connecting to the Internet has been a challenge especially for those who brought their gadgets or laptops with them for work. The signal was inconsistent so guests were not able to browse properly while they were checked-in.
