If travelling with children it is worth seeing if any of the themed rooms are available. These are designed for families and have a separate bunk bed area for the kids and also a game console.

Not only is there a swimming pool on-site here it also comes equipped with a large water slide which is extremely popular with the children staying at the hotel.

The rooms are spacious and the beds generally quite comfortable. If you’re just looking for a brief place to stay and can find a good rate then this property is worth considering. The staff are very friendly, especially those on the front desk and they are able to give recommendations of where to visit in the local area.

There is a distinct lack of attention to detail here with housekeeping overlooking issues that they really shouldn’t be. Guests have reported finding the previous occupants’ belongings in their room and dirty items not being disposed of or removed for cleaning.

The rooms here desperately need freshening up. One of the main complaints received here is the lingering smell that affects many of the rooms. Some guests have said it is more of a musty, damp smell whilst others have reported it as stinking of stale cigarette smoke.

Guests have been very disappointed with the food served in the buffet area. Some items have run out and not been replenished whilst many others have been served at the wrong temperature. Whilst in theory there is a good variety of food this does not happen in practice as much of it is inedible or soggy.
