Hotel Caesars Windsor (Windsor, Canada)

Guests loved the view from their guest room window. Most of the guest rooms at Caesars have views of the Detroit River, the riverfront trails of Detroit and Windsor, and the city skyline.

Previous guests were pleased with the state of the guest rooms. They enjoyed the modern décor and found the pillow top mattresses to be very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and rooms in the new tower have high ceilings, contributing to the feeling of roominess. They also felt that the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping the rooms spotless.

Caesars has many dining options, including a Johnny Rockets and a Starbucks, but the real gem is their fine dining concept, Nero's Steakhouse. They serve only the finest meat selections in an atmosphere that never fails to impress a date or a client.

The hotel's policies forbid outside alcohol and beverage coolers. Many guests were bothered by this, and a few suggested it was a ploy to get people to gamble more, since you have to pass through the casino to get to the bars.

For many, the hotel rooms were not what really brought them to Caesars. They came for the casino, or to see a show at the Colosseum. Some of those guests opted to stay the night after, and were startled by how high the rates were. Several expressed that they wished the hotel would offer discounts on the rooms to patrons who are there for the casino or shows.

A few people expressed disappointment over the slot machine selection. They felt the newer machines were too expensive, and would have liked there to be more "penny slots".
