Located just outside of central Victoria, staying here will put you within walking distance of the University of Victoria. So if you have a car with you, you can get to the university and to the shops as well as the restaurants within a10-minute drive.

Victoria is generally a somewhat expensive city, but this hotel offers rooms at very low prices, with quite adequate facilities to enjoy.

The owners have fulltime jobs, outside of running the B&B, and are not always available during the day. If you run into issues during your stay, you may find it difficult to get them handled in a timely manner.

The owners, while friendly, run the hotel as a side business and do not give it as much attention as you should expect. Not all details of the accommodations are available during booking, so you may need to call and clarify. The provided amenities are sometimes inconsistent, and you may need to ask for additional turn-down service, towels, and so on. In addition, a few guests have reported instances of double booking.

If you want breakfast made, you'll pay extra on top of your room booking. You may want to go into town and eat at a restaurant or café.
