While the hotel is in a convenient location, near the A12 Motorway and with good public transportation connexions, many guests found it to be a bit out of the way. To walk to the city centre, it takes about 30 to 40 minutes and most guests found that to be too far. In addition, guests said that there was not too much activity or entertainment around the hotel neighbourhood either.
Like many hotels in Austria, Bierwirt allows smoking on the hotel premises. Though most guests didn't have a complain about it, some did say that the smell of smoke throughout the property was a bit bothersome.
Unfortunately, the hotel does not have air conditioning. During warmer days, guests reported that the rooms can get hot, humid and stuffy. Apparently, the hotel does not offer portable fans upon request either.
