The reception staff are welcoming, friendly and ensure a speedy, painless check-in. Along with the facilities in the rooms, the staff's attitude helps ensure that there is the atmosphere of a home away from home.

Considering the amenities on offer, this hotel represents very good value for money. Guests can avail of free parking, the clean, well-maintained rooms in a nice setting. The pool is heated and is set within attractive planting of palm trees and other greenery. There's also oversized pool towels available.

The hotel is in a good location, which is near to the freeway exit, but is also within walking distance, or a short drive to the town center and the local wineries. There are four restaurants beside the hotel offering a range of different food options.

Some found the air conditioning units a little noisy. This isn't the case for all of the accommodation and regular visitors note that it is a problem in some rooms and not in others.

This hotel is a popular destination for weekend visitors and for events such as rallies, or workers staying mid-week. Particularly for larger events the guests can get boisterous and some felt there wasn't enough security to ensure the hotel remained relatively tranquil.

The hotel is non-smoking, but a minority found lingering smoke odor in their room. The hotel has a policy in place of fining guests who smoke in rooms, but this doesn't deter some and this leaves the telltale smell of cigarettes in non-smoking rooms.
