The manager and staff are helpful, welcoming and courteous, and make guests feel very much at home. Check-in is quick and efficient and local information is made freely available. Guests appreciate the quiet location of the hotel, and the pool and the provision of extra towels are liked.
Rooms are large, well maintained and clean, equipped with comfortable beds and provided with a good supply of towels. The breakfast is found to be extensive and of very good quality: a good start to the day.
For some guests the distance from the local attractions and amenities was rather more than they liked. At busy times the breakfast room felt a little on the small side, and the car parking suffered from a similar lack of space.
The absence of air conditioning was a great disadvantage in the guest rooms, making for an uncomfortable and sleepless night. The lack of a safe in the room was a disadvantage, and the Wi-Fi was not entirely satisfactory.
Some guests found the rooms to be dirty, and felt that the hotel does not represent value for money. On balance however the attitude and attentiveness of staff here leave a favorable impression. Probably the greatest failing, and one that needs to be addressed, is the lack of adequate air conditioning.
