The hotel is centrally located in the Grand Rapids area and is surrounded by a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Guests are roughly ten minutes from the vibrant downtown area and can visit a wide range of local attractions such as the beach and various museums.
While the consensus on the breakfast food seems to be the positive, the management of the breakfast area was found to be disappointing; guests found that food was in short supply as the service hours went on and would have liked the area to be better managed.
Despite some guests finding the location to be a bonus, others were disappointed by the longer-than-expected distance to the beach. This seems to be dependent on whether or not the guests were driving or walking.
