Hotel Belfiore (Florence, Italy)

The bed and breakfast is close to the train station and also near enough to the centre of Florence's attractions. There are also plenty of eateries nearby and shops as well. Guests were content with the central location.

The rooms are found to be clean and functional by most guests who thought the rooms were good for the price. They were basic and comfortable, clean and basic, which was good to have. There is no luxury but more of a home feeling which made it charming.

Most of the guests agreed the staff were very nice people wanting to help accommodate their guests as best they could. They explained and were helpful in telling guests where to go and recommended eateries. They were generous and even helped guests with children by having some toys available.

The breakfast is not free and charged which some found to be odd given it advertises itself as a bed and breakfast. The breakfast choices are also found to be inadequate by some.

The air-conditioning is found to be old and very loud by some guests, who thought the air was not worth the noise level. The system did not do such a good job of cooling the rooms and had a loud noise which was distracting.

The street noise in the morning is said to be very distracting for people who wanted to sleep some more. It was very distracting to the point of guests waking up knowing it was impossible to sleep. The insulation was not up to par with the modern traffic levels.
