Famed as a bicyclist utopia, guests can rent a bicycle and explore the long Sanibel bike paths, or relax by the heated private pool. A computer and printer are available for guests in the lobby. Guests can cook in their private bungalow or dine at one of the nearby restaurants. Tarpon Bay Road is a few minutes away by car from Beachview Cottages. Other destinations like Sanibel Historical Museum and Village and Finnimore’s Cycle Shop are a 10-minute drive away.
You will probably start to feel nostalgic at this place. There is a feeling of innocence and “the good ole days.” It's reminiscent of simpler times. You can chill-out on the beach, have a quick bite to eat, then enjoy the stunning sunsets during the evening. You will have many captivating moments at this facility. You may even catch a school of dolphins swimming near the shore.

Get an early start with Bailey's grocery store prior to your arrival. The supermarket has superb food and genuine good service, and it's not far from the cottages.
Be sure to bring some bug spray and make sure it's a very good one! The “no see ums” will eat you alive. This is important if you don't want to spoil your vacation.
They claim that the cottages are updated, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe the update took place years ago? Inside your cottage you might find grimy floors, a toilet not attached properly to the floor, and a cheaply put together kitchen unit. It appears that the facility has a winner with the location and they know it. The units are not “all that” but they charge outrageous prices, and they can as accommodations are sparse on the island.
Forget about the colder months. There's no heat in the cottages during winter.
