This is quite evident, because when you step over the threshold of a room that has housed smokers in the past, the acrid, stale smell of second-hand smoke is hard to miss. If this is a problem for you, be sure to state your preference for a non-smoking room upon booking, and then again at check-in.

This hotel could sure use a facelift. Dated furnishings, bathroom fixtures that have seen better days and carpeting that could use replacing are just a few of the items that this hotel needs to address.

Although it's a wonderful thing that this hotel allows pets, it seems they never steam clean the carpets or really scrub these rooms and there is the distinct smell of old pet messes that were never properly cleaned up. Not all of the pet designated rooms are equally as bad so if you do end up in one of these guest rooms, ask to be re-located to a less smelly locale.
