Hotel Bayfront Inn (Corpus Christi, USA)

The location is near the beach, so if you want to get away from the hot Texas weather you can easily take a dip to cool off. There is also the Aquarium and the baseball park.

At least the inn serves a simple but okay breakfast. You get some cereal, bread, apple and orange juice, and coffee. It's not much; however, for the price at minimum you get something to fill your tummy for the start of the day.

The inn is cheap and so are the accommodations, so there is no need to be surprised!

Stepping into the lobby should be enough to turn you around. It has that old, moldy smell. On top of that, once you step in the elevator regardless of the floor number you push, you may go either up or down. Hole in the roof, rust, tacky beams, this inn needs a lot of work.

Make sure your booking is in order, if you can, prior to your arrival. If you prefer a certain room and it's not available and you request another room, you may or may not have your request fulfilled, even if the place looks empty! It's just seems strange. It's as if they "measure you up" upon arrival to decide if your request will be granted.

There's really not much you can do with a place like this. It's a mess all the way around. Some have suggested that the inn needs emergency renovation or simply closed down. It's more akin to a horror movie than a decent place to lay your head while visiting the area. It's a total wreck!
