Guests rate the location of the Radisson Hotel Corpus Christi Beach highly. Being steps from the beach and having attractions such as the Texas State Aquarium within walking distance certainly helps, but guests also mention enjoying being close to great dining spots.

With some exceptions, guests are typically impressed by the standard of customer service offered by the staff at the hotel. There are frequent comments that suggest the check-in is smooth and hassle free. Guests do mention having to bring certain issues to the attention of staff, but also indicate that these are mostly rectified or at least addressed promptly.

The Island Bar and Grill attracts some positive feedback from guests. The food is enjoyable and seems well priced. Plus, the views are outstanding. It's a great place to sit and watch boat races and the 4th July fireworks. Guests also love the swim-up bar and the option to enjoy in-room dining.

Guests who opted for a Harbor Bay Bridge view as opposed to the more expensive rooms on the oceanside were quite disappointed with the vista from their window. Also, rooms on the roadside of the hotel are subject to traffic noise.

Comments referring to problems such as slow draining tubs, stained bedding, rushed repair jobs, and musty smells are fairly commonplace among reviews of this hotel. There doesn't appear to be any huge problems but these little things can add up and detract from an otherwise good experience.

A frequent complaint from guests is that they found the air-conditioning units were far too noisy. Other guests say it is diffcult to get the rooms to the right temperature and that they are either too hot or too cold.
