Hotel Bahia Playa (Puerto de la Cruz, Spain)

The hotel has an ideal location. It is within walking distance of a great number of pubs, shops, and restaurants. Plus, you can walk to the beach, an amusement park, and the town centre is just a five-minute stroll.

The rooms are quite spacious and the kitchenette is functional and convenient. The apartments have large balconies with sweeping views of either mountains or the ocean.

The property is surrounded by beautiful gardens with a lake and pleasant walking paths. There are several garden areas and an indoor courtyard with a pool. The entrance area is large and majestic and adds to the feeling of beauty throughout.

There are some extra fees that should be considered. Both air conditioning and heating cost extra and can become expensive if staying during cool or hot weather. There are also extra fees for parking and Internet access.

The food experience at the restaurant isn't that great. The meals are served buffet style for breakfast and dinner and is typical of that kind of food preparation. There are not many options from day to day and the food isn't tasty. Plus, the restaurant is a very small space and the service is lacking.

The majestic surroundings here are the real treat. The rooms are rather basic. Some of the furniture is outdated, shabby, or broken. The hotel provides no toiletries and there is a limited amount of hot water for showers.
