A common thread that runs through many guest reviews of this hotel is the high level of comfort in the guestrooms. The rooms are spacious with large bedrooms, kitchens and sitting areas; immaculately clean, and very stylishly decorated with marble floors throughout, comfortable leather furniture, and delightful showers. Further, the rooms are well-appointed with everything guests need for a truly comfortable stay.

Many guests simply live the location of this hotel with its own lovely seafront next to a private beach and jetty. Guests can enjoy ecotours to the stunningly beautiful Everglades with its unique flora and fauna. The hotel itself is nicely landscaped and features a beautiful garden where guests can relax and unwind.

Azul de Mar is small and cozy property where guests get to interact easily and make friends. The staff here is very warm and personable and helps create a very relaxed atmosphere at the hotel.

Azul de Mar features guestrooms with ample heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. A couple of guests have, however, noted that the heating system is not always up to the task and rooms can get quite cold during the cold season.

Guests have reported that the TVs here look like relics from a bygone era. A few guests have also complained about finding the rooms stuffy despite the air-conditioning units being functional. Moreover, the dehumidifiers are sometimes very noisy during operation.

Whereas some rooms here feature beautiful garden views, a few only have views of a large blue plastic tarp.
