If you have tickets to any of the endless concerts, shows, or conventions in the downtown Houston area, chances are this hotel will be the best choice. It's within easy walking distance to several attractions which host these events, as well as numerous pubs and restaurants serving dinner.

The price here is much cheaper than can be found at competition hotels in the area. For the price, you'll get a clean and comfortable room with free Wi-Fi. Many even have a kitchenette.

The staff here are quite friendly and helpful. They are eager to answer questions, give recommendations, and provide assistance to any issue that arises. The staff, especially the management, is warm and welcoming and seems to care about your enjoyment and pleasure.

Here, you'll have to do without some things that are standard at other hotels. There is no swimming pool. There is no lift. While there is a breakfast, it's so small and offers so little that it's also practically a no.

Remember this is a budget hotel. So, you'll have frayed carpeting, peeling paint, and TVs that might not work. Other issues you might have to deal with are room keys that stop swiping correctly and pest problems.

Many of the amenities are features are only open on certain days and at certain times. Breakfast isn't always available first thing in the morning and the reception staff like to sleep in, causing guests to wait on service.
