You'll enjoy plenty of space while staying here, most rooms are spacious and uncluttered. The balconies looking out over the streets and surrounding mountains are the perfect place to enjoy some fresh mountain air and watch the world go by.
The customer service from the staff here really cannot be faulted, they are very friendly and you're sure to feel like a valued customer. Requests are dealt with promptly and with a smile.
There's a pub and a disco directly below this hotel, so if you like to party every night that's great. However, if you like to sleep before midnight most nights you could run into trouble, so pack earplugs or consider another hotel.
Some of the bathrooms here are horrible shades of dark green, with garish plastic shower curtains and worn out fittings. All of these need to be renovated and brought up to the level of the rest of the hotel.
One area that Astoria does not excel in is providing an adequate internet connection. Simply put, the free Wi-Fi is rubbish, so don't expect to be streaming your favourite movies and TV shows.
