The hotel owner is a genuinely nice individual. There's a difference between being nice and just being courteous as a part of hotel etiquette; however, this person is genuinely nice. It's not unusual for the owner to go above and beyond, even as far as paying for visitor's transportation or giving up their own private parking space. You are assisted with your needs without the staff being pushy or aggressive.
If you are not looking for luxury and need a place to relax in the vicinity, this is the hotel for you. The night views are lovely too. Surprisingly, the Wi-Fi is superb!
The rooms can do with a bit of updating. The bathroom is very small and you may find yourself without hot water. There is no elevator either. There could be issues with heating as well. The hotel seems more like a bed and breakfast than a four-star hotel. To the owner's credit, they are working on updating the facility.
The buffet breakfast is nothing to write home about. You are served tea, coffee, water, bread, hard-boiled eggs, marinated olives, and crudités. The choice of foods are limited and not very appetizing.
The rooms are quite small and the beds nearly take up all the space.
