For people arriving with larger groups of family or friends, this hotel suited their purposes rather well. They enjoyed that the multiple bedrooms and a fair amount of space so no one felt too crowded.
For people coming to visit Dollywood, or the other area attractions, they were pleased to only be about a mile or less away. It made it convenient, especially after a long day at the park, since it didn't take too long to get back to the hotel.
Although guests commented that the hotel seemed clean, it did seem a bit past its prime. Guests mentioned that everything seemed a bit tired and they cited issues like doors that don't close properly, worn sofa cushions, dirty grout in the shower and worn carpets. Even among people who really enjoyed their stay they said that it could use aesthetic improvements and some routine maintenance.
Some travelers compared the beds to rocks because of the hardness. If you like a stiff mattress, you may like it here. However, for a number of guests, the beds were extremely uncomfortable.
