Rooms available at Al Kawakeb Dubai Hotel are all very clean and modern. Every room features air-conditioning which makes a huge difference during Dubai's hotter months. The modern aesthetics of the rooms also help to create a more cool and inviting space.

Another highlight is the en-suite bathrooms which, while slightly smaller than other hotel en-suites, are all very clean, very modern and extremely well-maintained. Shower pressure is good and the fittings look new.

Hotel staff are all very friendly and accommodating with the majority fluent in English which really helps a great deal in an Arabic-speaking country. The area around the hotel is very vibrant and can be quite confusing to newcomers and the hotel staff are really great at explaining where to go and what to avoid. The location is also ideal for shoppers and bargain hunters.

The general area around the hotel is very busy and there is a lot going on. Rooms are not really well-equipped to keep out the majority of the street noise which can be a problem for business travellers or families with young children.

There is no free parking available on the hotel premises and guests coming in by car will have to find paid parking in nearby structures or street parking which is not secure.

Room air-conditioning can be very inconsistent, often going off at random times and, in many instances, when it is on fails to adequately cool the room down, especially in the evenings. The free Wi-Fi also suffers from inconsistent performance and is not ideal for business use or more intense internet sessions.
