Recent guests at L'Abbaye de Talloires are running out of breath in the course of praising their experience at what they say is one of the most beautiful places on earth. With the French Alps as a backdrop, and the lake d'Annecy to look over, they say they feel as if they had dropped off the planet and landed in an Eden... and this includes their luxuriously spacious, comfort-filled rooms. Many also say that it is the perfect base from which to explore the region, and that they gratefully return to the pampering of the warm establishment. Sigh of contentment.
