Located off of the famous 76 strip is the 76 Inn. This inn is a bed and bath inn and not very far from all the attractions in the area. There are several rooms to pick from ranging from family to king sized rooms. The floors are carpeted and are beautifully decorated in a rustic fashion. Televisions and daily housekeeping are included. The 76 Inn is a bed and breakfast nestled in the hills of Missouri. All guests staying at the hotel receive free transportation to any local attraction. Pet friendly rooms are also available as well as roll away beds. There currently is no dining option for this hotel but they do offer a nice continental breakfast. There are other restaurants within driving distance. There are multitudes of entertainment venues located near the hotel. Known for its country music, this area teems with some of the country’s newest talent.
This hotel is an amazing price for the location. While many guests state they are not top of the line hotel rooms, guests still enjoy it because it feels like a home, lived in. Many visitors said it was a very relaxing stay.
This inn’s location is perfect for the music junkies. A short walk away are several theatres that have amazing events always going on, and with complimentary transportation getting to the shows is very easy from the inn.
The staff always greets you with a smile or wave, guests report. The service around the inn is pretty good and they answer all questions. Many guests said that staff were very knowledgeable of the events around town and certainly in the inn.
Several gusts have reported bed bugs in their rooms. While preventative measures may have been taken against the invaders, it has not been disclosed. On top of the bed bugs there is a serious roach problem.
This hotel's reservation system is outdated and quite frequently will drop people from the database. This has resulted in many guests receiving notification days before their visit, or upon arrival, that they have no room reserved.
Guests have been very descriptive about the room smells. Several people tried, with little success, to switch rooms, and a couple actually ended their vacation early to get away from the stench. No one seems to really know what is causing the smell, even staff.
