Habitat Carioca Hostel is situated in a century-old mansion, protected and preserved by the Cultural Heritage of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The revitalisation project of this house was designed by architect and restorer Cândido Campos. We have 2 collective dorms with customised and unique beds are triliches divided into capsules that accommodate between 03 or 06 persons. The mixed dorm with 4 capsules accommodating 18 people, as the female dorm with 02 capsules for 06 people accommodate 12 people. The hostel is located in the best part of the city, less than 3km from the airport Santos Dumond, less than 2km from the cultural district of Santa Teresa and a 15-minute walk to the bohemian neighbourhood of Lapa. The highest quality is that the hostel is 300 meters from the nearest metro station and takes you in minutes to several points of the city. The establishment is supported by three pillars: sustainability (present throughout the house that is made with many recycled materials), welfare (in our schedule are included walking tours and moderate adventure) and culture (the goal is enter the visitor in the local culture).
