Holiday Inn Memphis-University Of Memphis, An Ihg Hotel (Memphis, USA)

This is an all-suite hotel and guests were very pleased by the amount of space offered in the rooms. The remarked that the rooms seemed like mini apartments and were laid out for optimal comfort.

Guests liked how the property is across the street from the University of Memphis, and many stayed here when they had business to attend to at the campus. They also remarked how the hotel is in an area that is generally quiet and felt safe.

There were numerous comments from guests who said they have stayed at this property several times, or that they would willingly come back. This was because their experiences were consistently good and made them feel like they had chosen to stay at a reliable hotel.

Guests were disappointed that this property doesn't have a swimming pool. The hotel has an arrangement with the University of Memphis swimming facility so that guests can use it for a fee, but guests thought there should not have been an extra associated fee.

This is a teaching hotel used by the college hospitality program. Guests said the inexperience of some staff members was evident, They commented about sometimes having to ask twice to get needs met, and said that staff were slow to resolve issues or did not seem to know how to go about doing so.

Guests said there were instances where their rooms were not fully cleaned from day to day, and that it took longer than expected for housekeeping to arrive for room servicing. There was also a lack of attention to detail in the bathroom cleanliness.
