Guests have commended this hotel for the stunning ocean front views offered. Guests, particularly those staying on higher floors, could enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the comfort of their room.

Hotel management and staff have received positive reflections based on their attentive and courteous service. All the difference was made by the way that staff could engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, always be eager to serve as well as always having knowledge of issues and the expertise to resolve them.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location being situated just footsteps away from the sandy beach and boardwalk of Virginia Beach. Guests have been pleased with the number of nearby restaurants in the area as well as activities to take part in such as parasailing at Rudee Inlet Parasailing and Tours and Ocean Breeze Waterpark.

This hotel has received some negative reviews based on housekeeping's ability to clean the rooms thoroughly before the arrival of new guests. Upon arrival, guests have been dissatisfied with sand on the floor, marks on the bedding and an unclean balcony.

Amenities, especially the ice machines offered on-site and the in-room air-conditioners, gave a few problems. The ice machine was not cleaned regularly and it is evident by the water dispenser and the color of the ice itself. The air-conditioners did not always obey the temperature requested by guests and sometimes did not work at all.

This hotel offers its guests complimentary Wi-Fi. However, there have been complaints that the Wi-Fi is very slow and temperamental. Guests have experienced trouble with the slow connection and weak signal at certain areas of the hotel and this did not prove to be beneficial, despite the Wi-Fi being offered freely by the hotel, especially insofar as business orientated guests have been concerned.
