Hemingway’s Hotel (Patong Beach, Thailand)

Guests felt the rooms were well appointed and clean during their stay. The rooms had mini bars, kettles for tea and free Wi-Fi to use. The showers had powerful hot water and the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis.

The hotel is close to being in the middle of nightlife in the town. It was convenient for guests to walk to the eating and drinking spots, as well as the shopping areas and the nearby beach. The main tourist attractions were within good reach.

The staff were found to be friendly and supportive by guests. They try their best to resolve guest requests and questions and understand their concerns. They helped with luggage and arrange transportation to the airport.

The beds were found to be hard and uncomfortable by guests. The beds were too hard and guests would have preferred a softer mattress to have a better rest. The beds could also be better quality.

Guests did not like that the hotel had no particular views to speak of. The hotel was too close to another building which made for less light coming in and a building that blocked any views that were worth seeing.

The Wi-Fi was found to be poor and not working well by guests. They found that the Wi-Fi would drop out constantly and would not work well in the rooms. The Wi-Fi should have worked better in the rooms just as it is advertised.
