There is parking in the basement complimentary to all guests so those who want to bring a car and come and go as they please, perhaps to visit the many sites in and around Los Angeles, this is a big plus.

There are food markets, a food court and a Ralphs supermarket within walking distance of the hotel. The nearest subway station and bus stop are also a short walk away. Korea Town is generally a vibrant and culturally interesting area to explore.

Although the surrounding area is fairly busy throughout the day and somewhat at night too, it is safe to return late after a night out and there are security personnel on patrol in the hotel itself at night.

The guest rooms vary in size and layout, however compared to others in the same price range they are generally quite small and the furniture and fittings are rather basic. The walls between rooms are also thin so you may get some noise ingress from activity in adjacent rooms or the hallway.

Although free wireless internet is available in all guest rooms, there have been a number of complaints of its unreliable service, be it slow browsing speeds or problems encountered when trying to establish a connection. If you need fast or reliable internet connection eg. For work, it may be best not to rely on what's provided at the hotel.

In terms of cleanliness and general upkeep, there are a few issues. Some fittings and interior features are quite old and worn down and there seem to be irregular cleaning practices from room to room.
